I miss my B5 A4 and I miss my 2.7t C5 A6. Why not have the best of both of them in one? There’s something about Audis from this era that can’t be replicated with anything else. New cars just aren’t as fun.
Probably one of my dream cars right here.

I honestly prefer the sedan bodystyle for the B5 S4.

any nagaro blue car is cursed. I think it was the wagons espicially. no one knows what it is, but they are all crashes or vandalized or stolen or SOMETHING. and its ALWAYS the nagaro blue ones. the black/white/red ones? no where NEAR asa bad as the blue. and its not like the blue was made more either.
its just the nagaro curse

Not really, but had to be said. At least you know what to expect.

Is it bad I miss owning an old, expensive to maintain Audi? Because I do.

I’m convinced you loath your Passat

I don’t loathe my Yetta, it gets above 12 mpg which is a win in my book........
I just miss my damn 2.7 liters of twinturboallwheeldriveness. I’m thinking of keeping it for another couple years, then trading it for a Taco TRD Sport and getting a B5 S4 to fiddle with on the side. I had major plans for the A6, which were cut short.
I also still want an Allroad.

You in a Toyota? About as probable as me in an Audi 4000 coupe (wipes away tear)
![]() 03/14/2016 at 22:00 |

I actually really like the new Tacoma. Like a lot.
A friend of mine has a ‘11 or so Tacoma PreRunner and holy shit that thing is way too fun. Pretty quick also.
Let’s make a deal. If I ever end up in a Toyota, you shall be forced to end up in an Audi.

There are only two Audis on the planet I could ever think of reasonably owning but I could make it work. I mean maybe a 1999 (?) A6 wagon with the 2.8 too
![]() 03/14/2016 at 22:06 |

The 12v 2.8 as I’ve said before is an extremely reliable engine. On my ‘97 A4, it did 140,000 miles without anything besides oil changes, regular maintenance stuff and a t-belt.

Is it wrong this makes me want one more?
![]() 03/14/2016 at 23:13 |

Yes, you want an Audi 4000Q, but you can’t have it, because it belongs to my wife.

Everyone here needs help for their car addictions, or so I keep being told.

Right generation and right color combo. You have already owned VAG products before and you seem to know what could possibly go wrong. I’d say do it.

My dad had one of these when I was in high school, it’s practically the car I learned to drive stick on, the car has moved on and I’ve wanted my own ever since. The early 00's are the pinnacle of German style, I just want to open my garage someday to an E46 M3 and B5 S4

They’re great cars with a timeless design.
